Women’s Ensemble, also known as the Voices of Praise, rehearses in the music room
on Tuesday evenings during the school year. This group’s main focus is three-part music
and they sing approximately six times during the year at varying services. Rehearsals are
from 7:00-7:45 pm in the Music Room. This group requires some ability to read music.
The Hand Bell Choir begins rehearsals in September and finishes in May. The Thursday
rehearsals from 7:00-7:45 are in the Music Room. This group performs 4-6 times at
worship services during the year and anyone teenage and up is invited to participate. No
experience is necessary, but space does fill up, so please contact Joy if you are interested in
joining.
The Praise Team leads worship at the 8:30 service. Leading the congregation with the
melody of both familiar and new songs is the focus. A binder with music will be
prepared for newcomers. Students in Grades 6 and up and Adults are members.
Instrumentalists are also invited to rehearse and perform with the Praise Team. Band
members and singers meet at 8:00 am on Sunday to run through the music together.
Redeemer Lutheran School offers a handbell choir to students in grades 6-8 who attend
Redeemer’s School. This group performs in the community and a few times in worship
services the school year as well as at an annual music festival.
Solo or Small Ensemble opportunities are also available at either service during the year
