Developing important social skills is necessary before starting kindergarten; preschoolers will learn to share, cooperate, work together, take turns, participate in group activities, follow simple directions, and communicate their wants and needs.
Additionally, preschool learning concepts include counting, colors, shapes, and letters. They are taught to preschoolers as a foundation for later learning in math and reading. They also help develop fine motor skills, which are essential for writing.
